EPW - Meyer a Paris, verge fusee, 43mm, 18K multicolor gold OF original case with attractive scene including a walking dog in foreground, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 3:30, fancy gilt Louis XV style hands, KWKS, verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#481. Gross weight of assembled watch 40.1 dwt (62.4 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, good gilt tone, scratches around pillar locations, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches elsewhere, small puncture to perimeter of regulator disk, some oxide to coqueret; dial with chipping around winding aperture, some short perimeter hls around upper portion; fine hands, hour missing its tip; case shows little wear, ding to lower rear perimeter, good overall engraving detail though with loss at high relief areas; bow pivots freely; domed glass crystal with short scratch left of center, some small fine scratches elsewhere.
